How to prep for a Forma Facial
- Arrive with a cleansed face and neck area – no creams, no make-up.
- Avoid products containing any actives on the area for 2 days prior to treatment (ie. retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids, vitamin C, exfoliants etc.)
- Wear a daily 40SPF.
- Notify clinic with any changes to your health history or medications since your last appointment.
- History of cold sores may require an anti-viral prescription prior to treatment.
Post Care:
- You may use your regular daily skin care regimen immediately post treatment.
- Avoid actives for 24 hours. (ie. tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids, vitamin C, exfoliants etc.)
- Use a daily 40SPF - ideally the AlumierMD Sheer Hydration or Clear Shield
- You may wear make up immediately afterwards!
